About the position
The Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks an outstanding early to mid-career Acute Care Surgeon to join our thriving practice. Northwestern Memorial Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and one of the premier academic medical centers in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy team of clinicians, educators, and researchers. Furthermore, the Division is recognized for innovative excellence in education. The position is on the Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. Primary responsibilities include care of surgical patients on the Trauma/Emergency General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care services, education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and independent research. There is protected time for research, commensurate with supported activity.

Requirements
- Board certified in General Surgery
