The Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at the University of Utah invites applications for an open rank faculty position in Speech-Language Pathology beginning August 16, 2024. Beginning or advanced Assistant Professors as well as mid-career Associate and Full Professors with a history of research funding are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time Tenure Track, 9-month position. Specialization in adult speech and/or language disorders is desirable, but all areas will be considered. The University of Utah is a Doctoral/Research Extensive University with 34,000 students from every state and over 100 foreign countries. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders ( www.health.utah.edu/csd/ ) is located in the College of Health and currently includes 20 full-time faculty, 100 undergraduate students, and 140 graduate students. Both the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology programs are CAA accredited. Our Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic and affiliated medical centers provide excellent research opportunities.
