About The Position

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University is seeking a full-time non-tenure-track faculty member for the position of Assistant/Associate/Full Teaching Professor with a specialization in Robotics. Requirements

• PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science by the appointment start date.
• Demonstrated experience in robotics and related subareas.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the college/university level is recommended.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses related to robotics, including kinematics, dynamics, and control of robots.
• Develop and deliver curriculum for undergraduate and graduate courses in robotics and related areas.
• Advise students on academic and career matters.
• Engage in educational scholarship and mentorship of a diverse cohort of students.
• Teach courses in embedded systems, digital logic design, computer organization, and programming as needed.
• Manage an annual teaching load of six courses, with potential for multiple sections.
