The Department of Biomedical Sciences (DBMS) at the Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University (ETSU), invites applications for multiple full-time, tenure-track, open-rank faculty positions. We encourage applications from individuals with research expertise in one or more of the following areas of major strength within the department: Cancer Cardiovascular/renal Immunology/infectious disease Neuroscience Promising candidates in other areas of biomedical research will also be considered. Applicants with extramural funding through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or who are eligible to apply for VA funding are encouraged to apply. Consideration will also be given to cluster or group hiring in the areas of departmental strength. Applicants are expected to engage in basic and translational research, sustain independent research funding, publish in high quality peer-reviewed journals, and participate in teaching of medical and/or graduate students. Administrative duties may include service on departmental, college and university committees.
