About The Position

The Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy invites applications for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Pharmacy Practice. The successful candidate will provide didactic and/or clinical instruction at the doctoral (PharmD) level, with a specialty in ambulatory care or community pharmacy practice. This position requires a strong commitment to the Christian faith and a dedication to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Faculty members are expected to engage in research and scholarly activities, participate actively on school and university-assigned committees, serve as faculty advisors, and contribute meaningfully to the broader university community. The Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy offers students a distinctive, holistic learning environment with expansive opportunities for experiential training both domestically and abroad. Faith is intentionally integrated throughout the curriculum. STATUS Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD), required.
  • Completion of a pharmacy residency or a Ph.D. in a discipline within Pharmacy Practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in research and scholarly activity.
  • Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community.
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and the ability to integrate faith into coursework and professional practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior collegiate-level teaching experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers didactic and/or clinical instruction in assigned courses.
  • Maintains an active clinical practice consistent with specialty in ambulatory care or community care.
  • Serves as an academic advisor to PharmD students, as assigned.
  • Conducts research and/or scholarly activity resulting in peer-reviewed publications or presentations.
  • Participates actively in professional organizations related to the discipline.
  • Serves on school and university committees and task forces, as assigned.
  • Attends faculty meetings, faculty development programs, and other school functions.
  • Assists with faculty recruitment and student applicant interviews.
  • Represents the School of Pharmacy at university and external functions.
  • Performs other duties in service to the school or university, as assigned.
