About The Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine invites applications for Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. The Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics (GSO) department is seeking candidates at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level to provide clinical services as a Maternal and Fetal Medicine physician. This is a 12-month faculty (non-tenure track) position. This role involves inpatient/outpatient and consultative care at the University Medical Center Hospital in Las Vegas Nevada, Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas Nevada, and UNLV Health outpatient clinical locations in Las Vegas Nevada. The successful candidate will participate in medical student and resident education and have an interest in scholarly activities. Proven abilities in the areas of medical student and resident education, clinical research, health outcomes or education outcomes research is desirable. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and rank.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Completion of ACGME accredited residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Eligibility for a Nevada medical license, malpractice coverage, a State Board of Pharmacy license, and DEA license.
• Meet credentialing requirements and obtain admitting privileges at applicable hospitals and/or clinics.
