The Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and UC Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute seeks cardiologists with training in Advanced CHF, Transplant and Mechanical Assist Devices. This individual will assist with the development of a heart-failure/transplant teaching rotation for cardiology fellows and working closely with our transplant surgeons in the future.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO).
  • Completion of 1 year fellowship in Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology or equivalent training experience.
  • Completion of 3-year residency in Internal Medicine.
  • Completion of 3-year fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Ohio State Medical License and DEA License.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in both ambulatory and hospital-based care, collaborating closely with heart failure cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and critical care anesthesiologists to provide state-of-the-art patient care.
  • Actively contribute to education and training for fellows, residents, and other learners.
  • Lead initiatives in quality improvement, patient safety, and research.
