About The Position

West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Morgantown, West Virginia is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure or clinical track, faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, to serve as a faculty member in the Department of Endodontics. This position involves classroom, laboratory, and preclinical instruction as well as supervision in both the predoctoral and postdoctoral clinics. Faculty are expected to coordinate educational experiences with all departments in the School of Dentistry and the Health Sciences Center. Participation in research and pursuit of personal development within the School of Dentistry are required of all faculty members. The candidate is expected to participate in intramural dental faculty practice and must be eligible for a West Virginia dental license (http://www.wvdentalboard.org/).

Requirements

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian dental school or a foreign equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of a CODA accredited postgraduate training program in Endodontics.
• Advanced training and a certificate in Endodontics.
• Documented successful teaching and clinical practice in an academic setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities
