The College of Business invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month, tenure-track Assistant, or tenured Associate or Full Professor: Business Analytics position. Assistant Professor rank is anticipated; however, appointment at a promoted rank may be considered depending upon the qualifications of the successful candidate. Any hiring at the rank of Associate Professor/Professor with indefinite tenure will be subject to a successful out-of-cycle tenure review process. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to establishing and maintaining a strong program of research resulting in top peer-reviewed journal publications, teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, and providing service to the college, university, and academic discipline. Service requirements are greater at the Associate and Full Professor ranks.   • Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Business Analytics and/or Business Information Systems.
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong program of research resulting in top peer-reviewed journal publications.
  • Providing service to the college, university, and academic discipline.
  • Mentoring and providing opportunities for students from underrepresented groups.
  • Engagement in activities within the University and the profession.
  • Doctorate in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a closely related business discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution or equivalent.
  • Evidence of, or potential and motivation for, research excellence with a pipeline targeting high-quality business journals.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and commitment to excellence in inclusive teaching and student success.
  • Demonstrated commitment to educational equity and advancing the participation of diverse groups.
  • Ability to contribute to a congenial and inclusive work culture.
  • Research interests and/or publications in the areas of Agentic AI, business analytics, human computer interaction, information analysis, IT strategy, social media, impact of IT.
  • Demonstrated experience and competence in teaching at the university level, especially in Business Programming, AI in Business, Business Analytics, Machine learning/Deep Learning, LLMs, Social impact of AI.
  • Experience in teaching Master's level courses.
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to adopt an inclusive approach to teaching.
  • Relevant professional non-academic work experience.
