About The Position

The College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites applications for a full-time on-campus, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position. Candidates with experience in pediatrics as a pediatric nurse practitioner or family nurse practitioner are sought to teach undergraduate and graduate nursing students in classroom, clinical, and community settings. The College of Nursing admits traditional BSN students each spring and RN to BSN students each semester. We offer a Master's in Nursing with Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator options. Doctoral programs include the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. Requirements

Master's degree in nursing at the time employment begins.
Must have current clinical skills and hold certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner with experience in pediatrics.
Candidates must be eligible for Alabama RN license
Must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time employment begins and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
