The Assistant/Associate Director of Athletics for Operations, Events & Championships is an integral member of the athletics senior staff. This position will provide leadership for the facilities, operations and events staff on a day-to-day basis in addition to oversight of game operations and outside events for the College of the Holy Cross' Division I intercollegiate athletics program. The successful candidate will ensure communication and coordination in scheduling facilities and events with coaches, athletic department staff, other campus staff, and external user groups in addition to compliance with all federal, NCAA, league, college and state regulations as they relate to athletics facilities. This position will also create and manage departmental resources in a fiscally responsible manner and maintain applicable policies and procedures for the use and rental of all athletics facilities and outside events. The successful candidate will oversee three full-time staff members, including the Associate Director of Facilities and Arena Operations, as well as both Assistant Directors of Facilities and Operations, to ensure the proper function of all athletic events, practices, contests, outside rentals, and general function with direct reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Athletics. Sport oversight responsibilities will be determined based on the qualifications of the successful candidate.
