As a core faculty member in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, this individual will teach in the DPT curriculum and serve as Director of Drexel University Physical Therapy Services. This leadership role includes overseeing and expanding clinical practice opportunities, enhancing integrated clinical experiences for DPT students, and supporting innovative, evidence-based models of care. The position requires a dynamic clinician with interest and expertise in clinical administration, DPT and physical therapy residency education, and a progressive, results-driven approach to physical therapy practice. Responsibilities include participating in admissions interviews, advising and supporting DPT students, maintaining a scholarly agenda that meets accreditation requirements, contributing to curriculum review, and providing service to the department, college, and university. Opportunities for teaching in other college or university programs, as well as clinical practice with Drexel University Physical Therapy Services, are available. Faculty responsibilities are governed by Drexel University's non-tenure track faculty policy and the workload policies of the College of Nursing & Health Professions. All faculty are expected to maintain active physical therapy licensure in Pennsylvania and membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
