The Assistant Area Coordinator (AAC) is a live-in, graduate-level position that supports the residential experience at Brandeis University through placement in either Community Living or Student Rights and Community Standards. AACs work collaboratively with professional staff to support residential students, contribute to community development, and assist in administrative and operational functions within their assigned functional area. Community Living - AAC works alongside an Area Coordinator to support the oversight and management of a residential area, including supervising Community Advisors (CAs) and responding to the needs of residential communities. Student Rights and Community Standards - AAC supports the administration of the student conduct process, grounded in the university’s established expectations and standards of behavior as outlined in Rights and Responsibilities. This position is a graduate level position with 20 hours of required work (during the academic year). This is a live-in position. The AAC must be a full-time graduate student in good standing within an accredited graduate program. The hiring range for this position is $24/hour - $26/hour.
