About The Position
The Assistant Aquatics Director is responsible for management of pool operations, pool grounds, lifeguards and wait service staff.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service experience and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly identify problems, gather and analyze potential solutions and react to solve situations.
- Lifeguard certification.
- Aquatic background experience.
- Previous experience teaching swimming lessons and/or coached swim teams.
- CPR/First Aid certified.
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisor role or training experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Help train, supervise dining staff and lifeguard staff.
- Create schedules for lifeguard staff.
- Make sure employees follow club policies and procedures.
- Responsible for assisting in monthly inventory.
- Receive and handle complaints concerning food, beverage or service.
- Responsible for reporting incidents to management.
- Provide a leadership service to staff that ensures the highest levels of safety and dining satisfaction to members and guests.
- Assist with pool events.
- Other duties that may be needed by the business.
