About The Position

The Assistant Aquatics Director is responsible for management of pool operations, pool grounds, lifeguards and wait service staff.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service experience and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to quickly identify problems, gather and analyze potential solutions and react to solve situations.
  • Lifeguard certification.
  • Aquatic background experience.
  • Previous experience teaching swimming lessons and/or coached swim teams.
  • CPR/First Aid certified.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisor role or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Help train, supervise dining staff and lifeguard staff.
  • Create schedules for lifeguard staff.
  • Make sure employees follow club policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for assisting in monthly inventory.
  • Receive and handle complaints concerning food, beverage or service.
  • Responsible for reporting incidents to management.
  • Provide a leadership service to staff that ensures the highest levels of safety and dining satisfaction to members and guests.
  • Assist with pool events.
  • Other duties that may be needed by the business.
