About The Position

Alpine Country Club in Highland, Utah is hiring for a Seasonal, Full-Time Assistant Aquatics Coordinator to support the daily operations of the club’s aquatics program. This role is ideal for an energetic, organized, and safety-focused hospitality professional who enjoys working in a team-oriented, guest-facing environment. Position Summary The Assistant Aquatics Coordinator assists with the safety and cleanliness of the club swimming pool and facilities. Organizes aquatic activities and swimming lessons.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assists and helps coordinate, and maintain high quality aquatics programs, special events, and holiday events.
  • Maintains equipment inventory and notifies Aquatics Coordinator when needed to order equipment/supplies needed for implementation of various programs.
  • Assists with updates to department calendar to include all (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) aquatics programs, special events, and holidays.
  • Assist with caring for and aquatic equipment.
  • Keeps storage area neat, clean, and all in safe working order.
  • Assists with registering members at pool and charges for all guests, lessons and activities, etc.
  • Enforces club rules of safety and conduct.
  • Assists with coordinating private and group swim lessons.
  • Helps maintain necessary records concerning pool attendance, accident reports, problem-member reports, lifeguard and instructor schedules, timecards, etc.
  • Maintains a fully stocked First Aid kit.
  • Helps maintain files for various events including items such as purchase orders, check requests, expenses, revenues, brochures, promotional material, etc.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
