About the position

HUB International Limited (“HUB”) is the 5th largest global insurance and employee benefits broker, providing a broad array of property, casualty, risk management, life and health, employee benefits, investment and wealth management products and services. The position involves servicing large line accounts, including evaluating existing coverages and making recommendations as needed. Responsibilities include receiving, reviewing, and forwarding invoices, policies, endorsements, and other documents as necessary, reviewing and auditing policies for compliance with internal procedures, preparing applications, marketing specifications, and proposals, preparing premium allocations, applying proficiency of loss analysis, assuring proper disposition of items on expiration lists, and maintaining account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Service large line accounts including evaluating existing coverages and making recommendations as needed.
  • Receive, review, and forward invoices, policies, endorsements, and other documents as necessary.
  • Review and audit policies for compliance with internal procedures and in accordance with binder specifications.
  • Prepare applications, marketing specifications, and proposals.
  • Prepare premium allocations.
  • Apply proficiency of loss analysis.
  • Assure proper disposition of items on expiration lists.
  • Maintain account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelines.

Requirements

  • 2+ years with large lines servicing experience, preferably with broker.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance.
  • Detail oriented with good mathematical and communication skills.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to work within designated time frames.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • P&C License preferred.
