Requirements

• Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or related Engineering Field.
• 3+ years of Java/Scala development and other programming languages with experience in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and testing best practices.
• Experience in building scalable and distributed platforms (AWS cloud technologies is a plus).
• Knowledge in one or more SQL dialects.
• Self-motivated with analytical mindset who can multi-task to solve interesting and difficult technical problems under time pressure and resource constraints.
• Experience with all stages of the development lifecycle: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deployment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• A background in data intensive applications and Batch Process.
• Experience in AWS Cloud technologies.
• Comfortable working in highly dynamic and rapid development environment (Agile development experience).
• Working knowledge/experience in the financial or banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of the Portfolio Construction platform.
• Interface directly with Portfolio Managers and Traders.
• Involved in requirement gathering to development and roll out of new features.
• Manage automation and scale to the Fixed Income business enabling them to manage 60K+ client portfolios.
