About The Position

This role resides in the Retirement Solutions business within the Client Solutions Group of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). The Retirement Solutions team is responsible for client commercial strategy, on-going relationship management and strategic marketing engagement for Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO), Retirement and intermediary-focused Insurance investment solutions offered by the firm. We are seeking an Analyst to help support client relationships in the Retirement Solutions business across multiple lines of business, client types, and asset classes. The professional will focus on partnering with sales leads across Retirement Solutions to pursue internal and external client objectives across various business lines, including Defined Contribution retirement plans. We require a candidate that is hard-working, versatile, and passionate about learning the business lines and driving positive client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with senior client coverage professionals across Retirement Solutions across client types, including institutional DC plan sponsors & DC consultants, to further new business opportunities, create value add content and marketing materials to support sales and partnership efforts, and assist ongoing service of client accounts.
  • Develop connectivity within the Firm to help drive strategy and development initiatives across the business lines.
  • Engage with client to support the goals to establish, maintain and grow relationships across the Defined Contribution retirement markets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across the Asset & Wealth Management that support the operational infrastructure to service Retirement Solutions clients
  • Support the creation and maximization of sales and revenue opportunities within base of clients.
