About The Position

The Asset Transfer Services (ATS) Department balances incoming and outgoing transfer requests for Schwab clients. ATS strives to lead the industry by crafting the best transfer experience for our clients, internal business partners, and contra/brokerage firms. The Operational Associates in ATS perform a variety of functions and services for our Schwab Advisor Services and Investor Services client groups. This includes but is not limited to processing transfer paperwork, reviewing assets for acceptability to transfer, communicating directly with clients, business partners, and other financial institutions.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills on inbound and outbound calls
• Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with clients and partners
• High degree of accuracy in processing transfer requests
• Experience working with multiple systems in a dual monitor environment
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products
• Desire to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others

Responsibilities

• Process transfer paperwork for clients
• Review assets for acceptability to transfer
• Communicate directly with clients and business partners
• Assist with meeting critical cut-off times
• Handle high-volume processing spikes
