About The Position
The Asset Specialist II position involves assisting with the management of departmental assets, including locating, decaling, scanning, and maintaining capital and attractive assets. The role requires updating asset information in the university's official record-keeping system for assigned Housing facilities and involves physical tasks such as loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The position also includes responsibilities for removing, installing, and transporting equipment and furniture, coordinating workflow, and providing on-site leadership to staff. Additionally, the Asset Specialist II will manage work orders related to furniture issues and develop reports as needed.
