About The Position

As the Asset Reliability Scheduler, you weave together priorities, people, and parts so maintenance work lands on time, with zero surprises, and maximum impact on uptime. Your impact Scope with certainty: Screen non-emergency work, define the scope, and validate requirements at the job site. Plan for safe, efficient execution: Forecast labor hours and the right mix of skills; line up materials, parts, equipment, and special tools. Prepare with precision: Gather technical references—drawings, schematics, specs, equipment histories, OEM manuals, and Knowledgebase content. Confirm parts are on hand before scheduling and line up auxiliary gear when needed. Keep work ready: Manage a prioritized backlog and sustain a Ready Backlog at or above 80%. Improve every cycle: Apply continuous improvement to keep Job Plans accurate and effective. Align with operations: Lead weekly planning and scheduling sessions with Production to set priorities, share status, and re-plan as needed. Maximize labor utilization: Publish a Weekly Technician Schedule combining priority planned work and PMs to utilize 100% of available technician hours. Measure what matters: Leverage maintenance metrics and post-work reviews to elevate planning and scheduling performance. System stewardship: Maintain records and files that enable meaningful maintenance analysis and reporting. CMMS champion: Train site personnel and protect system integrity and adoption. What sets you up for success Associate degree in a technical field with 1–3 years of maintenance planning/scheduling; and/or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician; or an equivalent combination. Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude. Comfort with maintenance software and Microsoft Office; confident with computers. Clear, confident communicator and facilitator with presentation skills. Relationship-oriented, professional collaborator. Bonus qualifications Interest in growing leadership capabilities. Hands-on experience building job plans, scheduling, and supporting work execution. Background in project management and capital projects. CMRP certification. Green Belt certification. You will regularly stand and walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and communicate by speaking and hearing. You may climb and balance at heights using ladders or lifts, and sometimes stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined areas. You will occasionally sit. From time to time, lifting or moving items over 50 pounds is required. Close and color vision are regularly needed. You may occasionally encounter outdoor weather and potential electrical shock risks. The environment is typically very loud, and you may be around hazardous materials and greasy or slippery floors.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a technical field with 1–3 years of maintenance planning/scheduling; and/or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician; or an equivalent combination.
