ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned. Patrolling: Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of the interior and exterior to check doors, windows, and gates for security breaches. Access Control: Monitor site and building entrance points, verify visitor credentials, and manage staff/visitor sign-ins. Weapons Detection: Operates and advise onsite weapons detection system (Evolv) and respond / intervene detected weapons to protect site / staff. Surveillance/Investigate: Monitor alarm systems and CCTV cameras to detect unauthorized activity and reviews unlawful activity or site policy violations for reporting & escalation. Escalate when needed and leverage off-site law enforcement for controlled response. Incident Response: Serve as the first responder to emergencies, disturbances, or safety hazards, contacting law enforcement or fire departments as necessary. Incident management: Respond to emergency situations and gain control of situation, abate / resolve problem and gain control of area. Report and escalate when needed and leverage off-site law enforcement when needed. Reporting: Daily, accurate reports detailing observations, incidents, and security checks. Enforcement: Enforce company policies and uphold safety regulations, including removing trespassers if necessary. Reports: Completes all required transaction and activity reports to completion Inspections: Performs life & safety critical inspections on key building areas and equipment on the required frequency. (daily / hourly) Asset Inspection: Perform asset inspection for outbound TMs for product handling in the building. Detect / inspect when product handling is a concern / detect potential theft situations and respond accordingly. CRITICAL WORK BEHAVIORS Completes work with minimal guidance. Proficient in Writing, Microsoft Excel, MS-Outlook, MSWord. Strong partnership, team oriented with interpersonal and collaboration skills Perform assigned role with an expected level of credibility & integrity Have a passion for auditing, checking with high attention to detail RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE / TRAINING Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Experience with RF scanning devices Work history showing good attendance and zero work function disciplinary actions At least 1 year working for AAP or previous work experience in a warehouse/distribution security, MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home school equivalency Eligible to work in the United States Pass background check Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals Basic math, including add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
