About The Position

At Sephora, beauty is about feeling seen, valued, and empowered, individually and collectively. It is connecting deeply with others, celebrating diversity and inclusivity, unlocking your potential, and making a difference every day. Together, we belong to something beautiful. Ready to remove the compromise between passion and profession? As an Asset Protection Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in protecting what matters most—our people, our clients, and our brand. You’ll lead and develop Asset Protection Partners, champion safety and shrink prevention, and partner closely with store leadership to help create a secure, welcoming environment and seamless client experience.

Requirements

  • Experience. 3+ years in asset protection or loss prevention, ideally multi‑location.
  • Leadership. Experience leading teams and partnering with store leaders to drive results.
  • Risk Assessment & Response. Sound judgment under pressure and ability to guide others to reduce loss.
  • Integrity. Discretion and ethical judgment; working knowledge of retail criminal/civil law.
  • Interviewing. Investigative interviewing experience; Wicklander‑Zulawski or similar preferred.
  • Policies. Clear and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Technology. Experience with AP tools, MS Office, and retail systems (POS, inventory, scheduling).
  • Organization. Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership. Recruit, hire, and provide day‑to‑day supervision, coaching, and guidance to Asset Protection Partners across assigned locations; partner with store leaders to drive results and alignment.
  • Shrink. Implement asset protection plans that reduce shrink with focus on high‑risk departments; analyze results and adjust tactics to improve performance.
  • Safety. Lead store programs focused on safety, profit protection, and shrink prevention, including deterrence and response training.
  • Compliance. Ensure adherence to AP and operational standards; investigate discrepancies, fraud, and misconduct; partner with the District Asset Protection Manager and Store Manager and support prosecution when appropriate.
  • Systems. Maintain proper use of asset protection systems (CCTV, alarms, locks).
  • Partnerships. Build relationships with retailers, industry groups, law enforcement, and mall/property teams.
  • Sephora Values. Model inclusive leadership and Sephora values consistently.

Benefits

  • Health. Choose a healthcare plan to fit you and your dependents' needs with medical, dental, and vision coverage. Sephora also fully covers our employees’ disability and life insurance.
  • Wealth. We offer a competitive 401k with 4% match as well as FSA and HSA programs. We also offer a Student Debt Retirement plan, where your student loan payments qualify to earn the 401k match from Sephora.
  • Balance. Leading a store is exciting and dynamic, so we make sure you can recharge with vacation paid time off, sick paid time off, and protected leave.
  • Growth. No two stores or leaders are the same. With access to training, tuition reimbursement, and leadership development, you’ll be guided on a dynamic career path.
  • Perks. Think you’ve tried it all? Enjoy a 30% discount on all merchandise/services, opportunities for free product or “gratis,” and flash sale discounts on LVMH brand products.
  • Support. You don’t just lead a team that cares – you’re part of a team that cares. Tap into free mental health and financial coaching resources with 24/7 access to Modern Health and Financial Finesse. Plus, volunteer and donation matching.
