About The Position

Asset Protection Supervisor responsibilities include: -Supervises employees who provide physical security and fire protection to safeguard personnel and property. -Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. -Assists in security inspections and coordinates with firefighting and law-enforcement agencies. -Coordinate the physical security activities of an assigned shift in addition to ensuring the consistency of operations across all shifts. -Resolve day to day issues and enforce policies and procedures. -Appropriately and professionally address security concerns or questions posed by site employees. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Requirements

  • Position requires ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Prior leadership experience.
  • Familiar with multiple aspects pertaining to security, fire, medical and/or crisis management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders and customers.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with poly.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to operate company owned vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • Know and understand the nuances of Union Contract administration.
  • Experience in security, law enforcement and/or fire protection.
  • Experience creating and delivering relevant security related presentations.
  • Report writing experience i.e. ability to investigate facts, interview witnesses, and formulate official security reports.
  • Prior law enforcement or firefighting experience.
