Asset Protection Specialist

About the position

As the Asset Protection Specialist, no one day is ever the same! You are focused on preventing loss and controlling shrink by monitoring various areas of the store for fraud, compliance discrepancies, and other related activities. You work to identify potential concerns through use of our video surveillance and other systems and apprehend in accordance with company policy, local and state laws with safety as the prevailing priority. The Asset Protection Specialist ensures the store is a safe and secure environment for our customers, associates, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Prevent loss and control shrink by monitoring various areas of the store.
• Identify potential concerns through video surveillance and other systems.
• Apprehend individuals in accordance with company policy and local/state laws.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, associates, and business partners.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or related fields.
• Commitment to safety and welfare of self and others.
• Ability to work in varying environments, both in-store and outside.
• Positive approach to challenges and ability to build relationships.
