The Asset Protection Operations Coach drives sales through effective merchandise presentation, including accurate pricing, proper signing, inventory management, and securing high-shrink merchandise. This role is responsible for leading and developing teams by providing training, feedback, and clear expectations, and by fostering communication and collaboration across all associate levels. The coach models exceptional customer service, resolves customer issues, and implements action plans for improvement. A key aspect of the position is controlling unexplained merchandise loss and improving profitability by setting performance goals, ensuring policy adherence, reviewing inventory reports, and implementing control corrections. The coach also detects, deters, investigates, and resolves violations of company policies and criminal activities, gathers evidence, and may provide courtroom testimony. Furthermore, the role involves monitoring and improving safety and risk controls within the facility, supervising safety teams, identifying accident trends, and providing prevention training. The Asset Protection Operations Coach manages facility-level training for asset protection, safety, claims, and receiving procedures, and oversees claims and receiving operations to ensure proper policy adherence and timely processing of items. This position requires coordinating job-related activities, building stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies, mission, values, and ethics.
