About The Position

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide supervision to Division stores. Protect customers, associates, and company property. Promote adherence to company policies and procedures; ensure associates are familiar with company rules and regulations. Partner closely with Division Operations and staff. Monitor in‑store and Distribution Center security programs (where applicable) and make recommendations to improve effectiveness. Maintain formal and informal channels of communication throughout the organization. Encourage the expression of new ideas, suggestions, and constructive criticism. Protect company assets, including property, against theft, illegal entry, and illegal activities. Develop shrink‑reduction and awareness strategies for all Division and Distribution facilities (where applicable). Assign associates to tasks and supervise performance, goal-setting, and alignment to Albertsons’ core values. Monitor development and performance of Division Loss Prevention personnel. Assign, assist with, and supervise all Division investigations—internal and external—while working closely with Labor Relations, Human Resources, and Legal. Investigate Human Resources issues, including but not limited to sexual harassment, workplace violence, and wage and hour concerns. Report investigation findings to Human Resources and Legal for disposition. Present facts at unemployment, EEOC, and union hearings as required. Monitor the progress of Loss Prevention and (where applicable) Safety programs, making recommendations to ensure effectiveness. Promote the Exception Reporting System to ensure compliance with goals and objectives. Oversee compliance with federal wage and hour requirements.
