About The Position

The Asset Protection Auditor will support the District Asset Protection Manager by conducting store audits to ensure compliance with shortage control procedures and to identify potential internal theft. This role involves educating store associates on proper protocols and maintaining consistent standards across assigned stores.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of experience in Asset Protection or auditing preferred.
  • LP Foundation LPQ or LPC certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with CCTV system operation.
  • Experience with case report writing preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Good judgment in situations with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct store audits to identify areas of internal theft and ensure compliance with shortage control procedures.
  • Provide training to store associates on Asset Protection protocols and procedures when deficiencies are identified.
  • Communicate audit results and training conducted to the Manager on Duty (MOD) and District Asset Protection Manager (DAPM).
  • Maintain confidentiality of investigations related to internal theft until resolved.
  • Train associates on how to address potential shoplifting incidents with excellent customer service.
