Responsibilities

• Support shrinkage and safety awareness programs by communicating current topics to store management.
• Conduct surveillance to observe customer and contractor activities, detecting theft, fraud, or suspicious behavior.
• Detain and interview suspects in accordance with local laws and company policy.
• Maintain records using approved company methods, ensuring proper retention of evidence and disposition of recovered merchandise.
• Participate in court hearings and maintain relationships with local law enforcement.
• Identify and address potential hazards to customers and associates, conducting incident investigations as needed.
• Support internal investigations by collecting evidence and acting as an interview witness.
