This role focuses on coaching and training associates and leaders on shrink awareness, theft deterrence, and customer service programs. It involves partnering with Store and AP Leadership to identify theft trends, develop action plans, and promote awareness initiatives. The position requires maintaining a safe, clean, and secure store environment, monitoring activity through surveillance and reporting tools, and conducting external theft apprehensions and interviews. It also includes investigating and resolving criminal activity, maintaining case files, and supporting law enforcement. The agent will validate store security measures and respond to EAS and emergency exit triggers, providing feedback on audit findings to minimize shrink and operational risk. The role also requires responding effectively to potentially violent situations.
