About The Position

The Asset Planner is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely tracking of container, chassis, and load movements within the logistics department. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, meeting time-sensitive deadlines, and managing multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, coupled with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in logistics coordination, data entry, or a similar role within the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Container Tracking: Track container movements meticulously from their initial location to their final destination.
• Update internal systems promptly with real-time container status updates.
• Communicate any changes or delays in container movements to relevant stakeholders with precision.
• Ensure meticulous documentation and record-keeping of container movements.
• Data Entry and System Updates: Enter data accurately and promptly into internal systems with acute attention to detail.
• Update tracking systems promptly with real-time information on container, chassis, and load movements.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all tracking systems with meticulous attention to detail.
• Chassis Tracking: Monitor the availability and usage of chassis for container transport with acute attention to detail.
• Update internal systems promptly with chassis movement data.
• Coordinate with equipment providers to promptly address any issues or discrepancies in chassis availability.
• Communicate with relevant parties regarding chassis status and availability with accuracy and timeliness.
• Load Tracking: Track the progress of loads meticulously from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate seamlessly with carriers, shippers, and receivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of loads.
• Intervene promptly as needed to address delays or issues affecting load movements.
• Maintain meticulous records of load status and document any deviations from the original plan with precision.
