Job Description Position Purpose: Optimizes the efficiency of the Maintenance and Collections Department by providing short term and long term planning / scheduling that increases work output while minimizing wasted effort. In addition to managing all work order data.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 2 years previous experience in planning / scheduling and estimating industrial maintenance work preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial materials, equipment, and tooling.
• Computerized maintenance management software and GIS experience.

Nice To Haves

• Technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for estimating time and specifying materials, equipment, and manpower on maintenance work orders.
• Coordinate parts and materials availability with work orders to allow timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Schedule and plan preventive, routine maintenance, and shutdown work activities.
• Responsible for managing data input into the work order system.
• Responsible for managing a work order backlog.
• Review work order requests and correct deficiencies.
• Communicate with operations to effectively plan and schedule work in accordance with their needs and their operating schedules.
• Attend mechanic’s and collections morning meeting to get feedback, adjust schedule, and be informed of emergency jobs.
• Other duties as assigned.
