The REO Asset Manager will be responsible for the management of REO assets within Arbor’s Agency loan portfolio. The Asset Manage will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: REO Responsibilities: Creating and implementing business plans associated with (Agency) REO properties, for maximizing asset value, improving operational performance, and preparing properties for stabilization, repositioning, or disposition. Engage third-party property managers to oversee property operations and direct and continuously evaluate their progress. Monitor asset performance, KPIs, and budget adherence to ensure Properties are being maintained and managed effectively. Manage the auction or disposition process. Coordinate with senior management in analyzing strategies to mitigate losses and maximize asset value and manage the disposition process from beginning to end. Lead valuation efforts, working in conjunction with the brokers and the Asset Management team to update property valuations and gain deep understanding of the drivers of value. Work with Arbor’s internal and external legal counsel to obtain understanding and resolve any REO-related issues. Asset Management Responsibilities: Perform financial analysis of properties including collections review, vacancy, cash flow, budget and variance review, lease analysis, appraisal and engineering report reviews, etc. Overseeing the implementation of business plans. Work closely with senior management in analyzing strategies for workouts, foreclosures, and dispositions. Monitor capital improvement projects to ensure timely completion within budgets. Additional loan servicing and reporting as needed.
