About The Position

Asset Manager, Mid The Opportunity: An effective program requires exceptional management of assets for success. We are looking for you, an experience asset manager who is passionate about managing the logistics through the lifecycle of the asset, whether it be sof tware or hardware. It requires a professional who is dedicated to identifying challenges, driving ROI, and has a high attention to detail. That’s why we need a passionate Asset Manager like you who can help ensure our program achieves success. What You’ll Do: Set and define a comprehensive asset management strategy with the customer, including setting goals, objectives, KPIs, and met rics. Recommend, update, and support the development and maintenance of approved policies and procedures for effective asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation, reallocation, and disposal of IT assets. Set and implement IT cross team integrations with IT service management processes such as configuration, incident, change, and problem management. Drive ROI and efficiency strategy through effective analytics and reporting, acquisition strategy and licensing, and process discipline. Assume responsibility for compliance with security policies and standards for IT assets. Recommend and support the development and maintenance of approved processes for managing and tracking the full IT asset, license, and maintenance lifecycle from procurement to retirement. Ensure IT asset management deliverables, according to the contract, are delivered on time and accurately. Oversee shipping and disposable processes and execution. Be responsible for overall physical and virtual audits, including RCA for noncompliance, action plans to address gaps, and identification and implementation of continuous improvement actions for technology, process, and training. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with government IT asset management
  • Experience using Micro sof t Office programs, including Word and Excel
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience with asset management, or 6+ years of experience with asset management in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Micro sof t Enterprise Licensing
  • Experience supporting an enterprise level IT contract in a DoD organization
  • Experience with Remedy or Service Now
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • Master’s degree
  • IAT Level II Certification
  • ITL Foundations Certification
