About The Position

The Aero Alliance (50/50 GE Power & Baker Hughes Joint Venture)AM Turbine Engine Repair Operations Leader will be responsible for supporting AM refurbished, reconfiguration and lease engines in the shop. This role will lead operational execution of engine repairs to ensure on time delivery, TAT reduction and cost control. The role is further responsible for depot scheduling, material solutioning and status reporting.

Requirements

  • M i n i m um of 5 ye a r s of G as Turb i ne T e ch ni cal e x p e r i e n ce
  • E xp e r i e n ce w i t h E R P s y s t e m s i e Or a c l e
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage information flow and create comprehensive output
  • Ability to make decisions in a complex environment of conflicting priorities with problem solving and collaboration
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel)

  • Functional Experience using SFM, ARMS, and Oracle
  • Proven deep domain expertise with Aeroderivative Gas Turbines

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engine value stream leaders on work scope r e q u i r e m e n t s
  • Manage engine WIP at the L4 depot and L2 facilities by fa c ili t ating sh o p w o r k f l ow r e q u e sts a n d h a ndover s, s cheduling, and tracking/actioning project material health
  • Perform O ne o ver O ne w orkscope review with the shop t o e n sure c o m p l i a n ce w i t h project r e q u i r eme n t s
  • Accountable for regular status reporting to AM Engines team and channel customers detailing project milestones and expected completion
  • Proactively track engine bill of materials and work to expedite and/or solution new and repaired material to maintain project timeline
  • Partner with AM cost leader to track job costs and control spend, process credit returns and reallocations and provide justification for cost overruns
  • Track project hold points, including NSR/NCR/NSMR, and work with action owner(s) to resolve

  • Support the billing process for refurbished engines
