About The Position

CW Financial Services LLC ("CW") is a premier and unique, full- service real-estate firm providing solutions to institutional clients in the areas of Commercial Real Estate Finance. CW is recognized industry wide for providing the most sophisticated capital markets structuring techniques. As an Asset Management and Valuations Intern, you will work with the asset management and valuations teams to provide analytical support to asset managers and assist in reviewing the credit of securitized pools of commercial mortgages at individual asset and loan level. You will partake in weekly training sessions led by industry experts, receive mentorship from our experienced team of asset managers and valuations professionals, and gain hands-on experience through analytical assignments that apply real estate and finance principles in a fast-paced environment, with additional opportunities to interact with real estate professionals nationwide. You will participate in a program that allows you to see all facets of CWCAM and will provide support to Asset Managers responsible for the resolution of non-performing loans and REO assets. Additionally, you will perform credit analysis on pools of commercial mortgage- back securities, including agency debt. Specific duties include: Assist with excel modeling of the cash flows and valuations of properties across all commercial real estate asset classes. Analyze and assist with underwriting real estate and commercial Provide support for analyzing operating statements, budgets, third party reports, and commercial lease review. Present data-driven recommendations to asset management and valuations Perform market research by using both internal and third-party databases and utilizing existing broker relationships. Participate in property management, leasing, and client calls.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with a desire to learn and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Seeking a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, real estate or related field
