About The Position

The Asset Management Analyst at CYM Living is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the operational and financial performance of the company's multi-family portfolio. This role involves utilizing data analysis and financial modeling to identify areas for improvement and to support operational strategies. The analyst will work cross-functionally with various teams, providing insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, real estate, accounting, entrepreneurship, or related major required
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • 0-2 years of finance or data experience
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with Yardi, SQL, business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.) a huge plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to all departments and levels of the organization
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment
  • Strong desire to learn and take on responsibility quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Yardi, SQL, business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical skills to become an expert in business software (Excel, SQL, Business Intelligence Platforms)
  • Use a data-backed approach to answer questions and spot trends
  • Run ad hoc projects/analysis to create strategic recommendations based on data analysis
  • Create, prepare, edit, and refine daily, weekly, monthly analytics to drive decision making
  • Identify variances from benchmarks and the drivers of those variances
  • Create ad-hoc analyses to help managers/executives make more informed decisions
  • Prepare reports for management defining problem, evaluation, and possible solution
  • Constantly identify areas of improvement in the process and suggest/implement improvements
  • Ability to diagnose, research, and resolve technical issues independently or as a part of a team
  • Prepare and utilize budgets to ensure adherence to financial and operational plan
