From the boardroom to the breakroom, our team members make a difference every day. We are seeking an Asset Management Analyst to join our in-house Asset Management department. Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President of the Investment Sales Team, the AM Analyst is an essential member of the team and will assist deal leaders in carrying out real estate divestment transactions. This role is well suited for a detail-oriented individual with a foundational understanding of commercial real estate and an interest in learning to leverage AI-enabled tools to support everyday work. The Asset Management Analyst will have the opportunity to learn and grow within the company, supporting the disposition program and working alongside experienced colleagues. Strong organization and time management skills will help you succeed in handling a range of tasks, from assisting with documentation to supporting committee submissions and maintaining reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably with an emphasis in finance or real estate.
  • We expect at least 1 year of experience with commercial real estate transactions.
  • General understanding of commercial real estate and basic understanding of financial statements.
  • Basic knowledge of commercial real estate documents, concepts, and fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
  • Proficiency with basic Excel formulas with an eagerness to learn more advanced functions to improve reporting as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Deal Leaders with investment committee approval packages for both portfolio and single property transaction opportunities.
  • Manage broker data rooms in SharePoint, ensuring the collection and organization of due diligence materials and other transaction-related documents.
  • Prepare essential broker documentation, including confidentiality and listing agreements.
  • Obtain and provide current tenant and unit level financial reporting to listing brokers.
  • Review broker offering memorandums for accuracy in property and lease data.
  • Maintain the accuracy of broker master listing agreements, updating the property pricing and details for the listed inventory.
  • Facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal process to gather updated and relevant information regarding the tenant, lease, property, and market.
  • Coordinate with property management to resolve property issues and keep brokers informed of status updates.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the disposition leaders to assess unsolicited offers.
  • Initiate formal transaction processes by submitting detailed purchase-sale-agreement requests to the Legal Department upon LOI execution.
  • Verify and process broker commission invoices in adherence to listing agreements.
  • Analyze lease and property documents for language impacting the sale of the property including “use” restrictions, ROFO/ROFR, purchase options, master lease breakout rights and marketing restrictions.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and tasks as directed by senior management.
  • Utilize Salesforce to generate recurring and ad hoc disposition transaction pipeline reports, ensuring that all issued reports are comprehensive, accurate, and reflect the latest data.
  • Ensure all Salesforce deal data—covering property, tenant, lease, performance metrics, critical dates, and deal status—is accurate and kept up to date.
  • Update Salesforce records with relevant call notes and action items to support seamless transaction processes.
  • Track disposition candidates and unsolicited offers under review using Salesforce, and coordinate with Asset Management and Property Management teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT to implement enhancements, updates, and process improvements for Salesforce usage.
  • Sync the Asset Management team's overall transaction pipeline with the disposition pipeline in Salesforce to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  • Conduct quarterly audits to verify that disposition records in Salesforce are consistent with active broker agreements in SharePoint.
  • Keep SharePoint deal folders organized and up to date.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal teams, including Asset Managers, Accounting, Portfolio Managers, and Legal, utilizing shared knowledge and resources to drive successful outcomes.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with real estate brokers and outside counsel to support transaction execution and strategic initiatives.
  • Engage regularly with listing broker analysts to coordinate on due diligence, broker value assessments, listing agreements, offering memorandums, marketing status updates, and pricing adjustments.
