MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Logistics Analyst Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USAREUR-AF . You will play a crucial role in supplying mission command support. Supporting the government property administration and accounting duties. Performing clerical and manual duties in material areas such as receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Managing receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment as well as stocking vendor deliveries in warehouse or supply room and checks that deliveries conform to transfer directives to quality and quantity. Preparing government-required reports and represent the program during audits; coordinating shipping and receipt of equipment with subcontractors and vendors and supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities. Reviewing all organizational procurement activities to establish proper “inbound/outbound" projections and resource scheduling to maximize asset availability, storage capacity, support materials as well as ensure proper rotation and disposition of equipment is maintained and pre-staging actions are postured to meet organizational schedules and objectives. Preparing government-required reports and represent the program during audits. Coordinating shipping and receipt of equipment with subcontractors and vendors. Maintaining inventory control and distribution procedures to ensure compliance as well as performing warehousing control and implementing processes to maintain compliance with all government property and accountability regulations and local requirements. Conducting annual inventory procedures and audits to ensure 100% accountability; coordinating with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to proceed with the reutilization of all disposed equipment. Ensuring proper labeling, tracking, and database updates for all property items Ensuring all property items are uniquely labeled, tracked and changes entered into the database as well as maintaining records of acquisition/distribution and property, supplies, and materials. Investigating and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Supporting ground and air transport preparation for equipment. Overseeing all transactions and minimize personnel access to areas that could jeopardize property accountability controls. Operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks).

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors Degree; years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement
  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Technical skills: Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), or Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS)
  • Security clearance level: Secret Level Security Clearance
  • US citizenship required
  • Role requirements: Strong knowledge of inventory control, property management, and government reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office and government logistics practices.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate up to a 24-foot box truck.
  • Ability to climb and work from ladders up to 12 feet.
  • Must be able to obtain an IAT Level II certification within 90 days of date of hire (one of the following: Security+ CE (most likely), CySA+, CCNA Security, GSEC, GICSP, CND, and SSCP)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military logistics experience preferred
