About the Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as an Asset Location Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the effective management, tracking, and protection of assets within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize your analytical skills and expertise to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to asset location, movement, and security measures. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and strategic reporting, to provide valuable insights and recommendations that contribute to optimizing asset utilization and enhancing overall asset security.

Requirements

  • Preferred educational background or 2+ years prior experience with data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Gather relevant data from asset management systems, GPS tracking tools, security logs, and operational databases.
  • Clean, organize, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies related to asset location and security.
  • Develop and maintain asset tracking systems to monitor location, movement, and utilization of assets.
  • Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical assets with data records and identify discrepancies.
  • Evaluate existing asset security measures and identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of asset-related processes, procedures, and protocols.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement, and security teams to support asset-related needs
