Requirements
- Degree in finance or related discipline
- Interest or experience in banking, financial risk management or financial technology
- Solid understanding of the banking industry
- Solid understanding of fixed income math
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Experience working with large datasets
- Strong attention to detail and good planning and organization skills
Nice To Haves
- Progress towards a CFA, FRM or PRM certification
- Knowledge of SQL or Python
Responsibilities
- Implement Empyrean Solutions’ suite of software products for asset-liability management, liquidity stress testing, deposit modeling, capital stress testing, and funds transfer pricing at financial institutions.
- Train clients on functional and technical matters related to Empyrean’s products
- Develop financial models to help clients assess risk exposures and profitability
- Prepare and present risk measurement reports and analyses to clients
- Act as a liaison between the product management team and the user community
- Follow all applicable policies and controls
- Ensure customer data and sensitive data is transmitted using approved channels
- Maintain the integrity of the sensitive customer data in line with policies and controls
