Asset Finance Portfolio Management Team Leader The Asset Finance Portfolio Management Team Leader is responsible for the P&L outcomes of the business vertical, which include the credit, documentation and portfolio management functions, with an objective of meeting or exceeding budgeted volume targets while maintaining high credit quality standards / minimizing losses and ensuring the business needs are met in an efficient and compliant manner. Responsibilities to include: Develop and manage a team of individuals responsible for credit, portfolio management and documentation within the designated region, including assigning new credit submissions, managing workload responsibilities, ensuring portfolio compliance with all applicable regulatory and commercial credit policy guidelines, and ensuring team has necessary resources to carry out their responsibilities (such as training, head count, system access, etc.). Delegate responsibility for the direction of the vertical while ensuring that the vision of executive management strategy is carried out. In conjunction with senior management and sales managers, drive new business growth that provides an acceptable return for the bank while minimizing potential credit risk. This position is responsible, along with other senior managers, for the financial results of the business vertical. Prescreen and structure corporate lease and loan transactions for types of firms in multiple industries, conduct independent credit due diligence, and analyze / underwrite transactions in a timely manner. Review and decision new credit requests and annual reviews within designated approval authority ensuring compliance with all commercial credit policy and AF guidelines. Provide outstanding service levels to external / internal customers as well as develop positive rapport with senior credit management and credit counterparts across Citizens Bank. Manage and monitor a small portfolio of customer relationships in accordance with commercial credit policy guidelines. Complete quarterly and/or annual reviews within required timeframes, update and maintain required customer relationship data within CRM Dashboard, prepare memorandums and obtain approval for any changes or modifications to customer facilities and perform all other portfolio management responsibilities as required or necessary (such as exposure management plans, lease renewals, etc.). Monitor performance of the ongoing changes and solicit feedback from the internal customers in an effort to refine the structure appropriately. This will be accomplished through regularly scheduled meetings with key individuals.
