We are looking for an Asset Engineer to join our Performance Materials team in Wyandotte. The Performance Materials division is at the forefront of the much-needed sustainability transformation in plastics. Our experts co-create products with customers to bring innovations to major industry sectors such as transportation, consumer goods, industrial applications, and construction. These solutions contribute to a sustainable future by pushing the boundaries in thermal resistance, robustness and lightweight applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Asset Engineer to support the effective management of physical assets and contribute to capital project planning and delivery for our Engineering Plastics Compounding plant. The Asset Engineer will be responsible for capital projects as the manufacturing representative, requiring a strong engineering background, a keen understanding of manufacturing processes, project management skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement. As the Asset Engineer, you will manage and optimize the lifecycle of production assets and ensure that equipment and machinery operate at peak efficiency, reliability and safety while adhering to industry standards and BASF regulations and policies.
