Based in New York, the ideal candidate will: Support new asset-based deal opportunities with an analysis of capital structure, borrowing base, credit profile, market comparables, and industry research Develop targeted prospecting lists; join Senior Transactors in client and prospect meetings to develop and sustain enduring relationships Assist in the creation of pitch materials; screen opportunities; propose appropriate structures; work alongside Underwriting to green light transactions; draft and negotiate term sheets with clients (interfacing with legal counsel); work with underwriting partners to help shepherd internal approvals; negotiate legal documentation and manage an efficient closing process Interface with banker coverage and other partners to coordinate execution of transactions and to effectively meet deal timelines Exhibit business and credit judgment as well as to provide balanced assessments in working with internal team members and partners Maintain a strong attention to detail and complete work in assigned timeframes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Asset Based Finance
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong financial, analytic, and credit skills
• Experience in working with complex capital structures
• Team player, able to facilitate strong partnerships
• Excellent written and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Support new asset-based deal opportunities with an analysis of capital structure, borrowing base, credit profile, market comparables, and industry research
