About The Position

Burnett Therapeutic Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assessor to conduct assessments for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or delays. The Assessor position will be held by an individual who has the training, education, and/or experience necessary to serve as a Qualified Autism Service Professional. This is a remote position requiring expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the ability to design and deliver comprehensive assessments to guide treatment planning. The ideal candidate will hold a BCBA credential and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in assessment practices.

Requirements

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Proven experience conducting assessments for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Strong understanding of ABA principles and evidence-based assessment tools.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting and presenting assessment results.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining collaboration with the clinical team.
Proficient in using data collection and analysis software, as well as telehealth platforms.
Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
BCBA Certification.
Ability to submit DOJ/FBI clearances
Flexible schedule, able to accommodate families.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Valid California Driver’s license (if working in-person/hybrid)
Reliable transportation, and valid automobile Insurance. (if working in-person/hybrid)

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) using standardized assessment tools such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland-III, and other evidence-based methodologies.
Develop detailed assessment reports that include treatment recommendations based on assessment findings.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure assessment results inform individualized treatment plans.
Analyze data collected during assessments to identify patterns and recommend appropriate intervention strategies.
Coordinate and conduct caregiver or stakeholder interviews to gather pertinent background information.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in assessment and ABA methodologies.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of assessments and related documentation, adhering to organizational and regulatory standards.
Communicate assessment results effectively to stakeholders, including caregivers, school staff, and other professionals as needed.
Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain BCBA certification and further enhance assessment expertise.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in assessment procedures.
