About The Position

AM LLC is seeking an Assessments Planner that will ensure that evaluation processes run smoothly and effectively. An active TS/SCI or TS w/SCI eligibility clearance is required. This position is for a forthcoming contract and will be based at the Customer's location in Ft. Meade, MD.

Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI or TS w/SCI eligibility clearance is required.
  • Assessments planning experience at a joint/service level
  • Formal OIE background (e.g., FA30, or equivalent civilian/contractor training)
  • Strong knowledge of joint planning, targeting, and doctrinal processes
  • Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
  • This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) most of the time
  • Viewing a computer screen/monitor
  • Utilizing a keyboard

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of JIOPC, OPSEC Planners Course, or similar military planning courses
  • SAMS or SAW Graduate
  • Operational experience supporting CENTCOM AOR is preferred. INDOPACOM or AFRICOM is also acceptable
  • Familiarity with MILDEC, EW, Cyber, MISO, Public Affairs, Civil Affairs, Space And Intelligence Operation
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Documents the logic bridge for individual IF/IA's being considered for the COA to include tactical (MOP); operational (MOE) and strategic (objective achievement)
  • Assessment Planner meets with applicable IF/ IA SME to develop
  • Meets with Sr IOP to review indicators and validate they are specific, measurable indicators to support data driven MOEs.
  • Defines OIE Assessment Elements and proposed weighting for each IF/IA against cumulative objective.
  • Defines starting "baseline" for the operational environment to measure meaningful change over time, defining approach (included with COA's).
  • Sets threshold defining specific expectations for time, quantity, or intensity required to reach an objective in support of assessment collection requirements and plan
  • Applies Weighted Aggregation against multiple activities assigning proposed weights to each activity based on its predicted impact on the objective
  • After COA Approval Assessment Planner provides guidance to reporting individuals/ elements based on collection orders
  • Provides iterative and final reporting for collected results maintaining or adapting applied methods to avoid poor performance transparency
  • Responsible for creating, gaining approval and managing against assessment approaches, plans, collection requirements, analyses and reporting for APOLLO assessment needs
  • Defines OIE Assessment Objectives and Scope
  • Identifies desired effects, and domains (Info, Physical, Human)
  • Provides facilitation and consolidation of inputs from planning teams and customer to (Assessment Cell) to establish MOEs/MOPs/MOIs, data plan, and analytic tools
  • Designs MOE/MOP, dashboards, and long-term trend analysisWork integrated with government assessment cell for support ad reporting
  • Analyze results of assessments ensuring accurate and timely reporting and recommendations for iterative and final results
  • Creates visual reports, dashboards, decision briefs
