The Assessment Specialist provides comprehensive assessment services to a caseload of homeless men referred to BRC’s Reaching New Heights. This role involves completing comprehensive intake assessments for new clients, entering demographic and personal information into the AWARDS database, and initiating client charting. The specialist also assists clients in obtaining benefits and identification, engaging in day treatment programs, and maintaining data in both AWARDS and DHS Cares. BRC is dedicated to helping New Yorkers experiencing homelessness achieve health and self-sufficiency, restoring hope and dignity.
