About The Position

Do you want to have an important impact as a CASAC-T? Become an Assessment Generalist at NADAP and join a dynamic professional team. The Assessment Generalists work business hours Monday-Friday. No More Caseloads! No More Treatment Plans! Excellent work/life balance with a predictable 35 hour work-week. A CASAC-T interviews clients referred to by New York City's HRA, applying clinical judgment to determine appropriate treatment needs and levels of care. Work with a variety of clients and interact with treatment providers daily. Under the supervision of a CASAC Supervisor you will link individuals to chemical dependency treatment and harm reduction programs and also review progress to assist clients in recovery, leading to self-sufficiency.

Requirements

• Must have an active NYS CASAC-Trainee credential
• Be CASAC- Exam-ready with all but 1000 or less work experience hours completed
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a substance use treatment setting
• High school degree is required, Bachelors is preferred
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct one on one assessments on HRA-identified applicants and recipients
• Determine if treatment is needed
• Make clinical recommendations for treatment referrals under CASAC supervision
