This opportunity provides the following: Challenging and rewarding work environment Competitive Compensation & Generous Paid Time Off Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plans 401(K) with company match and discounted stock plan SoFi Student Loan Refinancing Program Career development opportunities within UHS and its 300+ Subsidiaries! · More information is available on our Benefits Guest Website:benefits.uhsguest.com Position Summary The Intake Assessment Coordinator is responsible for being able to perform all aspects of Palm Point Behavioral Hospital’s intake and admission process for both Inpatient and Outpatient Servives, including efficient and effective handling of inquiry calls, knowledge of and communication with referral sources; providing hospital and program information to individuals, agencies, facilities, and professionals; making outside referrals, when appropriate; assessing and triaging an individual’s mental health status; making patient safety and level of care recommendations to the PPBH physician; identifying insurance benefits, pre-certification of patient care; completing all admission requirements; communicating patient safety concerns and pertinent patient information to unit nursing staff and documenting all necessary information in Med Series 4.

Requirements

Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health counseling
Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred.
Communication and Team work
Must be available to attend the full hospital and departmental orientations
