About The Position

The Assessment and Support Coordinator position at Binghamton University is a vital role within the Office of Student Affairs Assessment and Solutions for Engagement (SAASE). This office is dedicated to enhancing the co-curricular experience of Binghamton's diverse student population through the development of a robust data infrastructure, assessment design, and analysis. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of tasks that include traditional assessment methods, data analytics, data visualization, outreach, professional development, and the creation of statistical models to support major divisional initiatives. Additionally, the office oversees 'B-Engaged', a platform that centralizes co-curricular experiences for students, making this role integral to the student engagement process. The Assessment and Support Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Director of SAASE to organize assessment activities across the Student Affairs division. This includes working with individual units to develop and maintain both recurring and ad-hoc assessment projects tailored to their specific needs. The role requires planning, organizing, marketing, and administering data collection efforts for key divisional and university projects. Furthermore, the Coordinator will support student affairs units in crafting their annual assessment plans and provide training on various assessment tools and platforms. This position also involves assisting in the development of documentation for key divisional data systems and assessment projects, as well as supporting the general administrative and organizational needs of the office, acting as a liaison between the Director and other university staff regarding administrative matters.
